What You Know

I realize that I've already blogged today. But today was more eventful than I expected it to be. And by eventful, I mean I went out. LOL. /loner.
My brother came home. At like 2:30PM. And by then I was starving because we were waiting for him to come home to eat lunch. So we were driving to Red Lobster, and then ended up going to Ooka instead. I've never been there before, but a bunch of my friends kept telling me it was good. And my dad/brother like it there, too. So I ordered some sushi. But I didn't realize it was like...all raw fish. o__o. I've never eaten raw fish like that before, I just eat the sushi rolls. Man, that wasn't pleasant, hahaha. The tuna/salmon wasn't that bad though. Just the red snapper. Ick.
Afterwards, I went to Costco to get a mother's day present/the mall to use my American Eagle discount. I ended up getting three pairs of jean shorts from there because they were all 40% off plus my 15% coupon. The total was like $60.
The weather was really strange, and it was raining/sunny at the same time. So naturally, a rainbow came. And I ran to get the Nikon from upstairs, only to be greeted by bad photos when I tried to take a picture of it. ): So I took pictures of leaves and trees. Everything was sprinkled with water, but it was still sunny out, so some photos turned out really well.

This here is my backyard. :) It's so pretty now that the weather's getting nicer. And the other three photos are on my Flickr already.

Here are my jeans that I bought. They kinda all look the same, LOL. ;~; But the one on the right is like bermudas, while the other two shouldn't be, but are longer in length than like normal shorts. I think. I bought them so I could wear them to school easily, since we're not supposed to wear really short shorts.
Well, I'm going to go make a card/do work. See you!

Who Says

Hi! :) I have tons of work to do, but whatever. My brother's coming home really soon, his plane landed already, so my parents are picking him up. :)
Anyways, I just spent the last like two hours making my first gif! I've made gifs before, but they were the really simple ones that are just the blinking cursor with text on it. It has my Tumblr on it for the copyright, so again, don't worry if it looks different from my normal Blogspot copyright. ;D
Take a look!
I'm in love with birds and bird silhouettes, so this was fun to make. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. :) I used a program called GIMP. It's a free-version of Photoshop. And no, it's not illegal. I watched a tutorial on YouTube to figure out how to put pictures in text, and then did that 9 times. (3 times for each bird.) The birds are actually a font I found on dafont.com so that's why I was able to put the image in it. Hope you like it! :) Have a great Saturday~

Kiss the Rain

So the AP test is officially OVER!
It was so difficult though. Definitely not what any of us expected. -____-"
But I'm glad it's over with, now I'm done with history for the rest of sophomore year. Well, I still have SAT II's that I just signed up for like 30 minutes ago, but whatever. No more history in history class. :D
I took a bunch of pictures today and everything. But I don't have the focus/effort to edit them at the moment, but I promise I will get some new photos in. The sunlight looked gorgeous today. :) Actually, everything looked gorgeous after my AP exam was over. Lol. :D On the bright side, we got to hang out in the cafeteria when it was over for like 45 minutes. Yay. (Lunch is normally 30 minutes here.) They gave us until 12:25 to get back to class, so we all talked and stuff in the cafeteria.
Anyways, I should go. I'm experimenting with GIMP at the moment, trying to make a GIF, but I need to find good backgrounds first in order to make it look good. Also, I'm going to make letters to cut out to put on my wall. So we'll see how that goes. :D
Uh. Let me post another picture of mine to make this post less text-y.
So this is a photo from my trip to Annapolis, MD. I uploaded it onto my Flickr. (loveamberx is my username!) So the copyright thing is a bit different than normal. I edited this photo in GIMP, the first time I've ever done that before. This was taken on a Canon SD890 IS, so not my DSLR. ): But I plan on using that more often soon!

When September Ends

THREE WORDS: AP. TEST. TOMORROW.
AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Shoot. I need to go study. I'm so nervous and all. It's my first AP test ever, and of course it has to be on history, something I don't like as much as say, science and math. But I heard the AP Calc AB test yesterday was like impossible, so dreading next year, too. Anyways, I have all of this nervous/anxious/bad energy inside of me right now, and I realize that I need to study. I'm going over the end of American history right now & will be taking 3-8 practice tests later on. I should probably go continue 'cause I want to sleep by like 11:30. ><, I only made this post because I've been extremely inactive on here lately. Sorry!
But yeah. On a happier note, I designed the class ring I'm going to be getting. :D It's so pretty! <3 Well, it's actually really expensive, but one of the cheapest ones there. The color of the stone is my birthstone, so it's like a light, pretty green. :) It has my initials engraved on the inside and my class year on the outside (2013!). My mom's going to go order it for me tonight at school, since I need to study, and I'll be getting it in September when junior year's up and running. ;~; But yay for class rings. :)
ALRIGHT. Byeeee! Tomorrow's FRIDAY! :D

Save Me

HAPPY MAY! :)
I'm so excited for this month. Hopefully everything's spectacular.
By this time next week I'm going to be overjoyed with relief. My AP test is on FRIDAY, so I'm really nervous/anxious and all. Bleh.
I don't know, I just really super excited for May. May's such a beautiful month, with the flowers, the birds, the warm weather, and (hopefully) not much rain. I'll also be looking forward to science fair. LOL. I'm such a nerd. No, but May's the time we go to states, and that's so much fun as it has been in the past. Look out for pictures when that comes around. ;u;
So I have to go study/write my research paper. I have so much work, and like 4 quizzes on Tuesday that I know I won't study for until tomorrow, but I really need to study for APUSH. /pointlessrant.
Uhh. Enjoy some pictures of flowers that I took a while ago. I don't have any new pictures lately. ):

Marry Me

Today was the Royal Wedding!
It started at around 4AM here in America. So obviously, I didn't watch it live.
Especially because I went to sleep at 3, working on my Am. Lit II project. -____-.
But I watched a majority of it when I got home, and it wasn't what I expected. Like, I thought it'd be bad and boring and all, but it was actually really exciting and interesting and cute~.
Kate Middleton looked absolutely gorgeous in her dress, and the whole thing looked so momentous. :)
Well, I really need to go study and all. BYE! (Yes, I'm studying on a Friday night.)

You and Me

The most interesting part of my day was in history. I took Emily's seat since she went to teach little kids about butterflies. We had a quiz, and I got one wrong. Oh well. ;D
Ivy gave me a bracelet. It's actually $7, but she gave it to me to advertise to people. Lol. It's really pretty, and it's from our Aid to Africa club. The bracelets are supposed to have to do with HIV and AID awareness.
After that, we went to the art show and looked around. Some of those pieces were absolutely amazing. <3 I wish I still took art in school. I actually was going to, but then I decided against it. I love study halls. :D
After school, I went to French club, it was elections day, so a bunch of people were there. I had so much food, since everybody running was bribing us with stuff to eat. Lol. :) Afterwards, I was headed outside to call my mom, since she was actually able to pick me up today. And I ran into some people. :)
Well, uhhh. I'll just post a picture of the bracelet and then go do homework/study! Byeee! (:

Don't Stop Me Now

Hey guys, sorry I missed yesterday & all. It was actually somewhat worth blogging about, being the first day back from school and all. But I didn't have any pictures or anything, plus it was late and I hadn't started my homework yet. Whoops!
Well, it's not like I have any pictures today, sorry! I haven't had a chance to take pictures/I haven't had anything interesting to take pictures of.
I'd just like to say HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY BILLY!
Because I didn't get a chance to come on here yesterday. (; I hope you enjoyed your 16th!
Alright, well, the most interesting part of my day today was the fire drill during pre-calc. Yay. :) Eric was nominated "fire marshall" by our teacher 'cause "he's the tallest." There are actually like 6 guys in my class that are all about the same height at like over 6 feet tall. Lol. I'm pretty tall for the class too though. Sometimes I wish I was shorter and all. It's nice being tall, but not too tall, you know? /pointlessrant.
Okay, well, I have lots of work to do! Am. Lit II project, APUSH quiz tomorrow, APUSH test coming up [SHOOOT], and pre-calc homework. Yay. Bye guys!

Built This Way

HAPPY EASTER! :)
& HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY ALEX!
Hey guys! :)
Today, I went out to lunch with my parents and my cousin. It was kind of nice, I guess.
The weather today's amazing! It's like 80 degrees. :) And it's going to be pretty warm for the rest of the week, too. I'm so looking forward to it.
After lunch, we were helping my cousin attach his license plate to the front of the car, LOL. It worked though~
And then he left to go back to school. ;n;
So now I'm trying to do homework/sobbing over the fact that school starts again tomorrow. TT-TT No! :(
On the bright side, there are only 51 days and 16 hours until SUMMER. So I'm excited. :) [Including weekends!]
Anyways, I'll post the pictures I took on my trip to Maryland~
It was loads of fun, it really was. :) The first day, we went to Ocean City. The second day, we went to Annapolis and just hung around there. The weather wasn't that great for either of the days, but it was still nice!
I just spent like the longest time editing these photos (okay, well, unsuccessfully, since they still don't look all too nice), so enjoy! The photos are all going to be really big because they look better/these photos are actually worth seeing big. ;)
Hi guys. This is me at the beach~ It was cold, lol.

The beach. It's so pretty and not crowded. :)

A glimpse of the boardwalk and all of the rides. The rides were all closed though, since it's not summer yet.

There were all of these kites being flown. ;u;

A little crepe store in Annapolis. My parents told me to get a crepe, but I decided they were too expensive. >n<, And I didn't eat lunch yet, so I wanted to wait.

Just a little shot of Annapolis. Yay for pixelating license plates. :)

I walked up and down this street so many times. o__o. It has all of these fun little stores though. :)

This restaurant had so many people waiting outside. And we had no idea why. ;n;

This is the Maryland State House. :) We went inside. It was cool, and no one was there. But I signed our names in their little book and stuff. :)

I took a picture of this person's yacht because I loved the name. Hehe, so clever.

Alright, now a bunch of things I got while I was there. :)
The two sweatshirts I got from Ocean City. The one on the left was only $10, while the one on the right was $20.

I got one of these little solar powered toys. :) I haven't seen them around here, only in China. So I wanted to get one. It moves its head. :) It was $2.99.

Some of you might know that I collect key chains. And I got this one from Ocean City! I got another one from Annapolis, but I have no idea where it is at the moment, LOL. This one was only $1.99.

Yum, salt water taffy. :D These were $7.99 + tax. They taste really good though! :) We also ate this huge bucket of fries (literally a bucket). o__o. They tasted amazing, hahah. They were $9.75. And then we ate lunch at this pizza place. Man, we were so stuffed. T-T. We barely ate dinner. I just ate like a little taco from Taco Bell at the food court at a mall that was near our hotel. And my parents ate something from Hibachi-San.

I got this at the Target at a mall in Delaware. LOL. Hey, hey, Easter spirit! I just ate it, too. So good. :) It was $0.99, too!

Alright, I need to go do homework and study for APUSH. Bye guys!

Closer to the Edge

Hey guys! I'm back. :)
I actually got back a while ago, I just didn't feel up for blogging.
Which is weird, 'cause I'm always up for blogging.
And my cousin came over from his grad school, so I've just been downstairs hanging around.
Anyways, right now my camera's downstairs and stuff, so I'll probably just make a big post with all of the pictures I took in these past couple of days tomorrow.
The pictures will vary from Ocean City and Annapolis to everything I bought to the cupcakes I just made. :)
Hopefully everyone's having a beautiful weekend! <3
Goodnight! (Even though I won't be sleeping for awhile...;u;)
