Yesterday was my last day of classes for sophomore year. It was so bittersweet.
I started out the day by standing in front of my French room waiting for her to open the door so she could see our surprise. :) She turned on the lights and then people screamed, "Happy retirement!" It was so cute.
This is my whole French class. I'm all the way on the left. The sign behind us was ours. :) And we also had 2 dozen doughnuts, four big bottles of drinks, and we gave her a Starbucks giftcard/a mug with all of our names signed on it. Aw.
Then I went to abnormal pysch. Where all we did was watch The Office. I don't find that show funny. IDK.
After, I went to American Lit. II. We just ate food (I had some brownies, cookies, and popcorn) and watched The Great Gatsby.
This is Megan and Alexandra. The sun was kind of annoying. LOL. They're the reason why I could last through this class all year.
So this is the little flower plant thing she always had. It moves with sunlight/light because it's solar powered. I have a few at home, but everyone in my class thought this was so cool. :) Heheh, they obviously haven't been to China yet! Everyone has them there. :3
Afterwards, I went to history. That was so sad. ;~; Today was his last day, too, because he's also retiring. We gave him 2 cards. One had music, while the other one was gigantic.
Isn't he like the most adorable teacher? He was so amazing. <3 He would always say hi to you in the hallways and smile. And he made so many jokes in class. I'm so glad I had him 4th period. He was saying how we were his last class ever in the 41 years he was there. And he just kept bringing up memories. <3 Aw. He read some of our card where we just like wrote our fondest memories and signed our name. It was so cute. Midway through, Ivy came in and brought a cake that said, "Happy Retirement!" AWW.
The picture quality is terrible though. I couldn't use my flash without it being super obvious.
This is Emily in history class. LOL. We were having a picture war.
This is Andrea and Emily at lunch. LOLOL. Neither of them expected this picture. All I ate was a popsicle for lunch because the PTO was giving them out. And I signed a few yearbooks, too.
Then I went to math. I didn't take any pictures there, but it was nice. Shela brought in cookies. Aw.
After, I went to chem. We made ice cream! LOL. It was so much fun.
I personally didn't take any pictures, but Emily took a few/I stole her camera for the period. She took this picture of me holding our bag of ice cream, but that was embarrassing, so I'm not posting it. xD Basically you put this bag inside another bag. And the salt+water in the bigger bag was supposed to make the smaller bag cold. And you had to keep mixing it until the stuff in the smaller bag was cold to make ice cream. :) So everyone was throwing around the bags to each other because they were SO COLD. But the ice cream was really yummy!
This is Hannah, Andrea, Emily, Iris, our teacher, and me.
Awkward. That's my ice cream in the purple cup! I was standing next to Hannah. And I realized how much taller I was than she is. So I started bending down. LOL.
I went to gym after. And I didn't do much there. It was Christina and I playing dodgeball with like 50+ guys. So scary. LOL. 'Cause all of the girls went to play Just Dance 2 on the Wii. And I don't dance...soo...
After school, I went to the June Fete with Emily. I ended up falling asleep while waiting, so when she rang my doorbell, I was like, "oh crap." But anyways. It was really sunny and hot there, but it was tons of fun! While we were there we saw Jason, Sam, Scott, and Seth. We went on a few rides with them and ran into them a few more times. Lol. :)
Emily with her cotton candy & lemon stick. :)
By the end of the like 9 rides we went on, we felt so nauseous. It was terrible, LOL. The guy on the ferris wheel asked us to look if it looked like it was going to storm or not. And when we got off, he told us the next time we went on, we could go on for free. But we never went back. ): We were too dizzy and sick to go on one more ride. LOL. Thank goodness we didn't go on the Gravitron!
My yearbook! It's covered in signatures. <3 Everyone wrote novels, and it makes me happy every time I open it up. The front is like our new school in a tree. The leaves are all orange to represent fall. And then the back cover has green leaves to represent spring. We go in during fall and leave during spring/summer! I also tried to pixelate the name of my high school/the name of the yearbook. But whatever. ;D
I really have to study for finals now!
Monday- Chem. (History exempted!)
Tuesday- Am. Lit II
Wednesday- Pre-calculus.
This is a really large post. o___o. But it'll make up for the next few days where I'm not going to post anything/anything with pictures. Bye!
